Charlène Guillaumot

About me

I did my PhD in ecological modelling from January 2017 to October 2021 at ULB (with a co-supervision in Dijon, France at the Université de Bourgogne Franche-Comté). I studied ecological models applied in Southern Ocean case studies. The aim of my thesis was to evaluate the limits of different modelling methodologies that describe species ecological niches. Methods included Species Distribution Models (SDM), Dynamic Energy Budget models (DEB), Lagrangian dispersal models and the integration of several of these approaches (SDM and DEB ; experimental observations with model predictions…).
